The Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 270 Awning (Passenger Side) is a freestanding, wraparound awning designed to provide fast-deploy shelter for overland, camping, and off-road use. Offering approximately 129 square feet of coverage, the Nomadic 270 deploys around the side and rear of the vehicle and can be set up by one person.
The awning is designed to function without poles in calm conditions, using reinforced oversized hinges and boxed aluminum rafters for structural support. For changing or severe weather, integrated pivoting aluminum support poles can be deployed and secured using the included tie-downs and stakes.
Constructed from poly-cotton ripstop fabric with heat-sealed seams, the awning is designed to resist water intrusion during rain. When stowed, the awning secures inside a heavy-duty 1000G PVC travel cover. Optional enclosure walls (sold separately) can be added for extended protection from wind, rain, and sun.
