The ICON Stage 2 EXP Suspension System for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma is engineered for Tacoma owners who want improved on-road comfort and confident off-road performance without stepping up to full coilovers. Designed as a balanced, cost-effective upgrade, this system bridges the gap between spacer lifts and full threaded-body coilovers, delivering tuned performance and increased wheel travel without unnecessary complexity.
This Stage 2 system features ICON 2.5 EXP Series front shock absorbers that reuse the factory Tacoma coil springs and hardware. These shocks combine the performance benefits of a fully rebuildable 2.5-inch diameter shock with the convenience and affordability of retaining OE components, providing adjustable front lift from 0–2" using a snap-ring design.
Sway bar relocation brackets are included to reduce sway bar link bind, maintain proper clearance from the EXP coilovers, and allow full suspension travel without overstressing factory components. Rear suspension performance is enhanced with a 1.5" Add-a-Leaf kit that replaces the OE overload leaf to soften spring rate and improve ride quality both on- and off-road. The system is completed with ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks, valved specifically for the Tacoma to deliver balanced control from front to rear.
