The Factor 55 UltraHook is a premium winch hook upgrade that combines the speed and convenience of a traditional hook with the safety of a closed-system shackle mount.
Unlike standard winch hooks, the UltraHook features an integrated shackle mounting hole machined directly into the body—allowing you to run a safer, more secure recovery setup using screw pin shackles or soft shackles. It was originally developed for off-road racers who needed both quick hook-ups and the benefits of closed-system winching.
Built from CNC machined 7000-series aluminum with a double shear pin design, this hook is significantly stronger and lighter than traditional steel hooks. A secondary latch lock system ensures the hook stays fully secured during recovery, eliminating the common failure points of standard safety latches.
