The Overland Vehicle Systems Soft Shackle Recovery – 41,000 lb is a safer, lighter, and stronger alternative to traditional metal D-ring shackles for off-road recovery, winching, and strapping applications.
Constructed from UV-stable Dyneema synthetic rope, this soft shackle delivers exceptional strength while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. Dyneema is so strong that an equivalent steel cable would need to be three times as thick, and even a premium ¾” steel shackle offers less than half the breaking strength. The soft shackle articulates smoothly, won’t rattle, won’t damage bumpers or recovery points, and is far easier to disconnect after a load is released.
This model features a 5/8" diameter rope, an abrasion-resistant protective sleeve, and a reinforced oversized collar for fast, secure retention. With a 41,000 lb breaking strength and 15,000 lb working load, it is suitable for both static and kinetic recoveries. A heavy-duty 600D ballistic nylon storage bag with locking cinch is included for clean and safe transport.
