The Factor 55 Offset Hawse Fairlead is engineered specifically for winch applications that use offset fairlead openings, such as certain ARB-style bumpers. Unlike standard centered fairleads, this offset design allows proper rope alignment in bumpers where the winch opening is not centered, reducing rope wear and improving overall winching safety.
Precision CNC machined from thick USA-sourced 6000-series aluminum bar, this fairlead features a 1.5-inch thickness, double the industry-standard 0.75-inch size. The increased thickness creates a larger radius at the rope contact points, significantly extending the service life of synthetic winch rope—especially during angled pulls.
Finished in MIL-A-8625F Type III hard anodizing (gunmetal gray), the coating provides exceptional abrasion resistance, extremely low friction, and long-term durability under harsh recovery conditions. The tall slot opening also allows 1/2-inch tube thimbles to pass through without interference.
