The Factor 55 Loop Guard XTV – Gray is a protective guard designed to shield winch rope and cable eyes/loops from abrasion, impact damage, and harmful UV exposure during recovery operations. By covering the rope loop at the fairlead interface, the Loop Guard XTV helps extend winch line service life while improving line control and safety.
Machined from billet aluminum for impact durability, the Loop Guard XTV features a quick-release zinc-plated pin that allows fast access to the rope eye without tools. When cinched against a fairlead, the Loop Guard maintains rope tension to reduce unwanted movement and rattling during vehicle operation.
An integrated rubber guard cushions contact with alloy fairleads, protecting both the rope and fairlead surface. Finished in a Mil-Spec hard gray anodized coating (Mil-A-8625 Type III), the Loop Guard XTV is built to withstand harsh recovery environments. It is available in multiple sizes to accommodate rope or cable diameters up to 5/8 inch and is proudly made in the USA.
