The Factor 55 1.5" Hawse Fairlead (Gun Metal Gray) is a heavy-duty aluminum fairlead designed specifically for synthetic winch rope applications. Precision CNC-machined from 1.5-inch thick 6000-series aluminum bar, this fairlead exceeds the industry-standard 0.75-inch thickness to reduce rope stress and improve synthetic rope longevity—especially during high-angle or side pulls.
The increased thickness allows for a larger outer fillet radius, reducing abrasion and heat buildup on rope fibers. This fairlead also features a taller rope slot opening, making it compatible with larger 1/2-inch tube thimbles, a first in the industry. A machined outer chamfer further reduces rope stress during demanding winching scenarios, including suspension “suck-down” use.
Finished in a MIL-A-8625F Type III hard anodized gun metal gray coating, the fairlead offers superior abrasion resistance and low friction—key factors in extending the life of synthetic winch rope.
