The Grimm OffRoad Rear Brake Line Kit is designed to improve braking responsiveness and durability on Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU models. Featuring stainless steel braided brake lines, this kit replaces the factory rubber rear brake hoses to reduce expansion under hydraulic pressure, providing a firmer and more consistent brake pedal feel.
Constructed with PTFE-lined 304 stainless steel braided hoses, the brake lines feature a UV- and abrasion-resistant black PVC protective coating for durability in demanding driving conditions. Triple chrome-plated fittings and stainless steel crimp collars provide additional corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both daily driving and off-road use.
Designed for stock-height and lifted Jeep Wranglers, this kit includes rear axle mounting brackets and installation hardware. The 28-inch brake lines conform to DOT FMVSS 106 requirements and are manufactured in the USA.

🛠 Installation
- Replaces the factory rear rubber brake hoses using the supplied mounting brackets and installation hardware.
- Installation involves removing the original rear brake lines, installing the stainless steel braided replacements, securing the axle mounting brackets, and reconnecting the brake line fittings.
- The updated GOR10829 brake lines require routing upward and forward from the rear calipers, as specified in Grimm OffRoad's installation instructions.
- After installation, bleed the brake system according to the factory service manual and verify that the brake lines do not stretch, kink, or contact suspension components throughout their full range of travel.
