Constructed with PTFE-lined 304 stainless steel braided hoses, the brake lines feature a UV- and abrasion-resistant black PVC protective coating for durability in demanding driving conditions. Designed for stock-height and lifted Jeeps, the kit features 38.5-inch brake lines and includes axle mounting brackets while eliminating the factory control arm mounting brackets. 🛠 Installation
- Replaces the factory front rubber brake hoses using the supplied mounting components and installation hardware.
- Installation involves removing the original front brake lines, installing the stainless steel braided replacements, securing the mounting brackets, and reconnecting the brake line fittings.
- The brake lines are side-specific. The driver-side retention bracket is stamped DB31, while the passenger-side bracket is stamped PB31.
- Installation is best performed with the suspension fully extended to verify proper brake line routing and prevent excessive tension during suspension articulation.
- After installation, bleed the brake system according to the factory service manual and verify that the brake lines do not stretch, kink, or contact suspension components throughout their full range of travel.
