The Eaton ELocker® Electronic Locking Differential for Toyota 8-inch rear axles provides instant, on-demand traction at the flip of a switch while maintaining smooth, predictable on-road drivability when unlocked. Designed for off-road use, towing, work trucks, and extreme trail conditions, the ELocker allows drivers to engage full rear axle lock only when needed.
When activated, the ELocker delivers 100% mechanical lock, forcing both rear wheels to rotate together for maximum traction in rocks, sand, mud, and uneven terrain. When disengaged, it operates as a standard open differential, preserving tire wear, driveline longevity, and road manners.
Unlike air lockers, the Eaton ELocker uses a fully electronic actuation system, eliminating the need for compressors, air lines, or solenoids—making it a clean, reliable upgrade for Toyota platforms equipped with an 8-inch rear differential.
