The Air Locker uses a pneumatically operated internal locking system to positively lock both axle shafts together. When engaged, the internal gears are prevented from rotating independently, ensuring both wheels turn at the same speed for maximum traction on rocks, mud, sand, snow, and uneven terrain. When disengaged, it behaves like a factory open differential, maintaining smooth handling and predictable road manners.
