The FOX Shocks Performance Series 2.0 IFP Rear Shock for Jeep Cherokee and Wrangler TJ models is engineered to dramatically improve ride quality, control, and durability both on-road and off-road. Built using FOX’s race-proven damping technology, this shock delivers a smooth, controlled ride on pavement while maintaining predictable handling in harsh off-road environments.
The 2.0” aluminum smooth body shock features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design that separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge. This design prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent damping performance even under extreme use. Combined with application-specific valving and a race-developed high-flow piston, the Performance Series 2.0 provides confidence-inspiring control over rough terrain.
Constructed from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a clear anodized coating, the shock resists corrosion and dissipates heat efficiently. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, it bolts on easily and supports multiple lift height ranges depending on application.
