Designed for routes like the Canning Stock Route or multi-day backcountry travel, the Outback Overland system builds on the proven Alpine RT3 platform by adding heavy-rate Outback coil springs that maintain proper lift height when carrying armor, gear, tents, fuel, and supplies.
At the heart of the system are Alpine IR Short Arms with patented Independent Rotation (IR) bushings, eliminating bushing bind and allowing unrestricted droop for improved articulation and a smoother, quieter ride on pavement and trail. HD forged adjustable track bars and dedicated track bar brackets re-center the axles, restore roll center, and significantly reduce body roll and tail wag—critical for stability on long, loaded expeditions.
This extended-travel suspension is engineered to safely deliver up to 16 inches of rear suspension travel, while SpeedBump progressive bump stops absorb harsh impacts and protect components in extreme terrain.
