The TeraFlex JL 4-Door 3.5 Inch Coil Spring Base Lift Kit with 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks is a foundational lift solution designed to provide increased ride height and tire clearance using essential lift components, paired with shocks specifically engineered to work with TeraFlex lift coil springs. This package is ideal for Jeep owners who want a basic, budget-conscious lift with matched damping, while planning to add geometry-correcting components later.
Unlike complete suspension systems, this base kit does not fully correct suspension geometry on its own. To achieve proper drivability and handling, TeraFlex recommends adding Front Control Arm Sport Brackets, longer Front Lower Sport Control Arms, or adjustable Alpine (IR) control arms, along with front and/or rear HD Forged Adjustable Track Bars.
The included 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks are tuned to complement TeraFlex lift springs, improving compression and rebound control for enhanced stability compared to running lift springs alone.
