Not only did it leave our competitors' heads spinning, but it inspired them to "develop Inch their own hinged spare tire carrier. It took them nearly five years to produce an inferior product lacking many of the features of our Alpha HD Spare Tire Carrier & Mount Kit.
Designed to accommodate up to a 37 Inch tire, the Alpha HD Spare Tire Carrier & Mount Kit secures your spare tire over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain. It also provides easy access to the rear cargo area in one smooth action.
Using the factory tailgate hinge mounting points spreads the load of the spare tire over a larger area for maximum strength and durability.
Internal gussets and bracing in the stock JK body supports the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier and oversized tire, which eliminates all stress from the tailgate.
The Alpha HD Spare Tire Carrier also provides additional mounting points for off-road accessories such as a recovery jack and fluid containers.

Order Processing:
- Most orders placed before noon CST on in-stock items will ship the same business day.
Oversized Items:
- Please note that some items, like wheels, tires, bumpers, racks, and full suspension kits, may require additional handling charges due to their size, weight, or truck freight requirement.
- Any additional charges will be clearly displayed during checkout.

Refund policy
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for new, unused items in original packaging. To start a return, email sales@offroadspecialty.com with your order # and reason. If approved, we’ll issue a prepaid label (or you may use your own carrier, depending on the item). Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection. Exceptions: custom/special-order items, installed/used items, and items without original packaging are non‑returnable. A restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply on non-defective returns. For freight shipments, note delivery damage on the BOL and contact us within 48 hours.
