Factor 55 introduces the industry's first vehicle recovery kit featuring all Made In USA components. Packed with the essential tools to safely recover a vehicle in non-winching scenarios. Complete with Factor 55's Ultimate Recovery Gear Bag (medium), made out of Premium Canvas, medium-sized to nest neatly with your other gear.
This Recovery Kit will fold flat when unzipped, allowing you to easily locate the equipment you need depending on your recovery scenario. This kit is designed for the non-winch equipped offroader, overlander, or Military/SAR/First Responder. Our Recovery Gear Kits are named after some of our favorite destinations for off-roading adventure, mountain ranges found right here in Idaho.
Our Owyhee Kit is our small recovery gear kit and includes:

Note: Factor 55 Recovery Kits Do Not come with gloves or hitch pin. A good quality pair of gloves should be purchased for use in your recoveries. Gloves that fit your hands and are made of quality materials. A quality hitch pin should also be purchased, a lockable or quick release pin that suits your needs best.
Shipping Policy
Free Shipping Over $250
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $250 within the contiguous United States.
Restrictions: Free shipping does not apply to oversized items, freight shipments, or deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.
Delivery Timeframes
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days after order processing.
- Expedited Shipping: 2-day and next-day air options are available at checkout for an additional cost. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on your location and carrier performance.
- Order Processing: Orders placed before 12 PM CST on in-stock items typically ship the same business day. Exceptions may apply based on supplier processing times or carrier delays.
Oversized Items
Some items, such as wheels, tires, bumpers, racks, full suspension kits, and campers, may require additional handling charges due to size, weight, or truck freight requirements.
Oversized item fees include:
- Tents: $200
- Bumpers & Racks: $100
- Magpak Camper: $300
These charges will be clearly displayed during checkout before you complete your order.

Fulfillment Notice
Off-Road Specialty operates as a dropshipping business. Products are shipped directly from our suppliers to your door. Shipping times may vary depending on the supplier’s location and availability. We work only with trusted partners to ensure timely and secure delivery.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us at sales@offroadspecialty.com within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date). For freight shipments, note any visible damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.
Refund Policy
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for new, unused items in original packaging.
To start a return, email sales@offroadspecialty.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, we’ll issue a prepaid return label (or you may use your own carrier, depending on the item).
Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Exceptions:
- Custom or special-order items
- Installed or used items
- Items without original packaging
For freight shipments, note delivery damage on the BOL and contact us within 48 hours.
